Feeling is evidence. It is not the only evidence.
Almost every spiritual teacher you will ever meet asks you to accept feeling as the final word. Feeling is real — it is genuine data about your inner state, and we do not dismiss it. But feeling alone cannot be tested, repeated, or confirmed by anyone, including you. And a field where nothing can be checked is a field where nothing can be learned.
So we hold a second standard alongside it. Where a claim can be tested, we test it. Where it can't, we say so plainly rather than dressing up uncertainty as certainty.
Three commitments we make to you
1. We practise what we teach
Every method on this site is one we use ourselves, daily, and have used for years. Nothing here is borrowed from a book we haven't lived in. Twenty-five years of daily discipline stands behind the instruction.
2. We mark our own work honestly
When a question genuinely has an answer, we give it. When we don't know, we say "we don't know" — without inventing a comforting story to fill the gap. The moment a teacher starts filling gaps, the teaching is no longer reliable, and you have no way to tell which parts are true.
3. We tell you when something failed
A method that always works is not a method. When a practice produces nothing, or an experience can't be verified, we say that too. You are entitled to know the difference between what has been confirmed and what is still being tested — including in our own work.
And one line we don't cross
Our personal spiritual practice is our own. We do not sell it, publish it, or turn it into content. What we offer in teaching comes from it; the practice itself stays private. That is not secrecy — it is simple decency, and it is the same boundary we will keep around anything you tell us.
What you should do with anything you read here
Test it. That instruction is not decoration — it is the actual method. Take every claim on this site and hold it against your own experience. Where it holds, keep it. Where it fails, discard it without ceremony. You owe no loyalty to a teacher, including us.
And keep your own record. Whatever practice you take up, write down what you attempted, what happened, and what you could verify. A private log kept honestly for a year will teach you more than any library — and nobody else ever needs to read it.
Why we do not scatter the teaching. Knowledge of this kind is not harmless. Misunderstood or misused it damages people — and whoever handed it out carelessly shares in what follows. So we teach it personally: by letter, in session, in conversation, adapted to the human being in front of us. Guarding the door is part of the charity.
