How this book came to exist, stated plainly and without embellishment, because the origin is the most unusual thing about it.
Before its author knew the word Spiritism, he produced thirty-nine video scripts. He did not know what to call what he was doing. He was writing down what came, publishing it, and moving on — a field technician with a notebook and a long drive to work.
Some time later he found Allan Kardec's codification and discovered, with some astonishment, that the tradition he had been unknowingly transmitting had a name, a method, and a hundred and fifty years of other people's work behind it. The spirits had recruited him before he knew there was anything to be recruited into.
Those scripts became the backbone of this book. The chapters you will read are that material — organised, questioned, tested against twenty-five years of daily practice, and translated out of the language of the spirit world into the plain language of the workshop.
It is a working manuscript. Chapters are still being written. Nothing here has been smoothed over to look more finished than it is.
